Sundays At Tiffany’s

Sunday at Tiffany’s is about a little girl named Jane who’s eight years old, the only child and a lonely one too. Her mother is a really wealthy; she’s the head of a Broadway theater company and has no time for Jane which is really sad. However, Jane has a  really close friend which is the only friend she has; who’s  handsome , the most nicest,  kindest and a hilarious man named Michal- who’s an imaginary friend. He leaves her on her ninth birthday and promises Jane that she will forget about him the next day. But she doesn’t. Years pass and she meets Michal again. They both fall in love and get married

I really liked the book. It was a quick read in which you can read for hours without stopping. It had about two hundred and ninety pages in total. I taught this book was quite imaginary and had a touch of romance in it that I really enjoyed. Most of all the characters were flat characters. The Flat characters in the story were Jane and Michal. The two main characters of the book. From small days, Jane has been a really soft, shy, trustable and a person who believes in everyone and everything they say to her. She loves doing work for people and most of the time you can see that she’d being used by her very own boyfriend. She’s also very sensitive and gets hurt very soon. Through the whole story she never changes she’s always been very polite and patient for whatever she’s being doing. Michal on the other hand is a her only trustable friend from ages, who’s charming, funny, handsome and a comforting young man. He hasn’t changed a bit in the story either. There was only one round character in this story, which was the mother of Jane, Vivienne. Vivienne was a self obsessed mother, who only cares about herself and her theater company; she’s always in her own world. But in the ending of the story it all changes. Her mother finally realizes that her daughter is the most important thing on earth and she believes that Michal is the right guy for her. Unfortunately she dies after she has changed into a better person.

 I was really touched by this book and enjoyed reading it. But most of the characters were flat and the story was easy to predict. I would rate this book as B.
